International Women's Day is a poignant moment to reflect on the invaluable contributions of women across various spheres of life. At Level, our commitment to diversity and inclusion isn't just a buzzword; over 75% of our borrowers are female. Supporting women is ingrained in our culture, and our women employees play an integral role in shaping our success.
An example of this dedication is exemplified by Alexandra Ottridge, who recently took the stage for the second time at the Divorce Studio workshop. The Divorce Studio is a visionary initiative founded by Chrissie Cuming-Walters and Ceri Griffiths - for women, by women, designed to provide a nurturing environment where women can gather, support one another and access expert guidance during challenging times.
Alexandra's presentation on lending options offered crucial insights, empowering women navigating the challenging terrain of divorce. The workshop underscores the importance of solidarity and expertise in times of need.
Moreover, we're extremely proud of the achievements of Lucy Zorab (COO) and Katie Alexiou (Founder and Head of Legal) at the Women in Credit Awards 2022 & 2021, Lucy having only recently returned from maternity leave. Their individual accomplishments highlight the collective performance of women at Level.
International Women's Day serves as a powerful reminder of the progress we've made and the work that still lies ahead in achieving gender equality. It's a day to celebrate the achievements of women worldwide, while also acknowledging the barriers they continue to face. At Level, we remain committed to fostering an environment where all individuals, regardless of gender, thrive and succeed.
